About Me

I am a clinical psychologist in Portland, Oregon with over 15 years of experience working in the field of psychology. I specialize in psychological testing and evaluation services. I am licensed as a psychologist in Oregon (2879).

I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Hofstra University in New York. My dissertation research was focused on the treatment of Selective Mutism in school settings. As part of my clinical training I completed an APA accredited predoctoral internship at Pacific Clinics in Pasadena, CA, where I worked in an intensive therapeutic after-school program with children, as well as conducting therapy and assessments with children and adults in a community outpatient clinic. My postdoctoral fellowship was at UCLA TIES for Families, providing services to children of all ages who were being adopted from foster care. These included pre-placement evaluations, diagnostic testing, fetal alcohol syndrome evaluations, infant assessments, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. Prior to my doctoral studies, I obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology from NYU and an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, at hospitals, community mental health clinics, and in private practice. I have experience conducting a range of assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. These have included gifted and twice-exceptional (2e), learning disabilities, neuropsychological, developmental, and comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments. I also complete psychological assessments for third-party reproduction, including evaluations for gestational surrogates and gamete donors.

I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner and two children. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, eating, being outdoors, and exploring. I am bilingual in English and Finnish.
